Jeff Sessions, the U.S. Attorney General, has entered the bad books of President Donald Trump ever since he recused himself from the Russia investigation, which is probing into the Trump campaign’s alleged collusion with Russia.
The president has stopped short of firing Sessions but has been publicly denouncing him, purportedly in a bid to force a voluntary resignation.

Procter & Gamble reported an adjusted profit of $1.08 a share, beating forecasts for $1.06, despite sales coming at at $16.86 billion, below forecasts for $16.94 billion. It also cited the strong dollar as a possible headwind.
